The VP Finance & Operations is expanding with the addition of UBC’s Enterprise Risk & Assurance
Effective January 15, 2024, the VP Finance & Operations (VPFO) will be welcoming UBC’s Enterprise Risk & Assurance (ERA) team to the portfolio. This strategic transition is part of our ongoing efforts to optimize the university’s organizational structure, enhance operational synergies, and ultimately improve risk-informed decision-making and reporting.
Leadership changes in the Office of Enterprise Risk and Assurance
We wish to inform you of some changes within the Office of Enterprise Risk and Assurance (ERA) which will come into effect next month.
Jennifer Kain, the Chief Assurance and Risk Officer, will be leaving UBC in September. At that time, Allen Amyotte, who is currently Director, Internal Insurance, will take on the role of Interim Chief Assurance and Risk Officer.
